Sunday Evening Services
Every Sunday there is an evening service at St Margaret the Queen starting at 6.30pm alternating between a short simple compline service and a simple eucharist/communion service.
The compline service is a space to dream about what sort of society and community we wish to be part of, and how St Margaret’s might exemplify this sort of way of life.
The eucharist service is a place of sanctuary, solace for weary souls, to encounter the grace of God in silence, simplicity and contemplation.
Both services in 2016 will explore more deeply how we might form a rhythm/rule of life for our community, that takes seriously our own experiences of God, as well as listens to those things that have resourced the church, and also what God is calling us to in Streatham Hill.
After both services we will continue the conversation @ Perfect Blend, a bar on the high street five minutes walk away.
Once a month we also gather together to cook and share a meal, finding renewal and life in one another, and to pray and to discuss more deeply what our rhythm/rule of life might look like. For further details please email Gareth.
